Practice Manager
The practice’s first point of contact. Responsible for scheduling, insurance verification, prior authorizations, billing, and medical records for every patient.
MindHealth Psychiatry limits its panel size to preserve continuity of care. Whenever scheduling allows, patients continue with the same clinician across follow-up visits, and the full record of your evaluation, prior trials, and treatment plan stays with the practice. The goal is to minimize repeated intake histories and mid-course plan changes as care progresses.
Initial evaluations are scheduled at extended length rather than in brief increments. The first appointment covers psychiatric and medical history, prior medication trials and their outcomes, and screening for conditions that frequently present alongside the primary concern. A thorough initial assessment reduces subsequent trial-and-error prescribing.
Administrative functions are managed in-house: scheduling, insurance verification, prior authorizations, records requests, and billing. Benefits are confirmed prior to the first appointment, and questions involving a pharmacy or insurer are handled by a single designated contact familiar with the patient record.
New-patient appointments are typically available within a few days. Cael will verify your insurance benefits before your first visit so there are no surprises.
