Oregon-specific questions

Frequently asked.

Does the practice accept Providence Health Plan?

Yes. We are in-network with Providence Health Plan in Oregon. If you are enrolled through Providence employees or a Providence ASO plan, coverage applies at the specialist-visit benefit tier.

Do you accept the Oregon Health Plan (Medicaid)?

What does a psychiatric visit cost in Oregon with insurance?

Most commercially insured patients pay only a specialist copay — typically $20–$60 for follow-up visits, and sometimes higher for the initial evaluation depending on plan deductible. We verify benefits before your first appointment so there are no surprises.

What about mental-health parity in Oregon?

Oregon law and the federal Mental Health Parity Act require most commercial insurers to cover psychiatric care on par with medical care. In practice, that means the same deductible and out-of-pocket maximum applies across both. If your plan is denying psychiatric visits it otherwise covers for medical care, we can help you file a parity-based appeal.
