What we treat
We are an adult outpatient psychiatric practice. The bulk of our work sits in four areas:
- Adult ADHD — full diagnostic evaluation, ASRS rating scales, stimulant and non-stimulant medication management. See ADHD care in Seattle.
- Depression — major depression, persistent low mood, and postpartum depression, tracked with the PHQ-9.
- Anxiety — generalized anxiety, panic disorder, and social anxiety. See anxiety care in Seattle.
- PTSD and trauma — trauma-informed medication management, coordinated with a trauma-focused therapist.
We do not provide inpatient care, court-ordered evaluations, or child and adolescent psychiatry, and we are not a crisis service. If you are in crisis, call or text 988.
How telehealth care works here
First visit is a 60-minute evaluation by secure video: history, current symptoms, medical and medication review, validated rating scales, and a treatment plan discussed before you leave. Follow-ups are typically 20–30 minutes, at two to four weeks after any medication change and then at a spacing that matches how you are doing.
Prescriptions go electronically to any Washington pharmacy. Non-controlled medications — SSRIs, SNRIs, bupropion, atomoxetine, guanfacine — are fully prescribable by video. Stimulants are prescribable under current federal telehealth rules with an appropriate evaluation and a check of the Washington prescription monitoring program. Serving Seattle and King County
We see adults across Seattle and the wider Puget Sound region — Capitol Hill, Ballard, West Seattle, Fremont, the University District, Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, Renton, Kent, Shoreline, Everett, and Tacoma — entirely by secure video. There is no MindHealth office in Seattle; Washington care is delivered by telehealth statewide.
Our Washington patients skew toward working adults: software and biotech employees on hybrid schedules, healthcare staff at the major Seattle hospital systems, graduate students, and parents fitting appointments between school runs. Telehealth is usually the point rather than a compromise — a 30-minute follow-up does not cost anyone two hours of I-5.
We send a visit summary to your primary care provider within one business day when you request it, whichever Seattle-area system they practice in.

In-network in Washington with Regence BlueCross BlueShield, Premera, Cigna / Evernorth, Aetna, First Choice, and Optum. Most patients pay a specialist copay.
Washington Apple Health (Medicaid) is not accepted. Self-pay rates are available by phone, superbills are provided for out-of-network reimbursement, and Good Faith Estimates are issued before your first visit. Full details on the Washington insurance page.

Do you have a psychiatry office in Seattle?
No. MindHealth Psychiatry serves Seattle and all of Washington by secure-video telehealth. Our in-person offices are in Salem and Newberg, Oregon, and Vancouver, Washington.
How quickly can I see a psychiatric provider in Seattle?
New-patient telehealth appointments are typically available within about a day, which is considerably faster than most Seattle-area outpatient psychiatry waitlists.
Can I get psychiatric medication by telehealth in Washington?
